I want to make a deposit and pay, I do not see that option

Hiya, Keith! Thanks so much for reaching out to us here at planDisney. We love being your one-stop shop for all things Disney vacation planning! And since we're talking about budgeting for a magical vacation, I have a feeling even Scrooge McDuck would approve.

If you are booking a vacation package, which includes a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel room reservation and theme park tickets booked together, you will have the option to pay a deposit during checkout and then make payments leading up to your vacation. It's a great way to build your vacation fund without needing a Money Bin! Just note that the entire amount is due 30 days before your arrival date. If you are just reserving a hotel room, you will pay a deposit, which is typically equal to the cost of one night's stay (plus taxes and fees), and then the rest will be due when you check in. Finally, theme park ticket-only purchases must be paid in full at the time of purchase and are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Be sure to check out the terms and conditions for vacation packages and theme park tickets.

If you are purchasing a vacation package and you want to make a payment after your initial deposit, you can do that right through My Disney Experience. Just log in, select "My Plans and Tickets" from the My Disney Experience drop-down menu, and scroll down until you see your reservation details. There should be a "Make a Payment" link to, well, make your payment. What I love about this option is that you can pay whenever you'd like. It's the kind of flexibility I think good old Scrooge would appreciate! Can't pay more than just the deposit this month? That's not a problem. Want to pay a bunch more to make up for it next month? Go for it. It just allows you to pay as much or as little as you'd like as you go along, and by the time your vacation rolls around, it's all paid for!

Keith, happy planning! May your vacation savings be worthy of a spot in Scrooge McDuck's vault. And don't be a stranger. If you have any other questions, I'm here for you!

    Work smarter, not harder,
    Matt
