Does the deposit count towards your total balance? Example if your total is $700 and you put a $200 deposit do you now owe $500?

Hello Ana! That is a great planning question! I'll get to the answer to your question first, then I'll share some great news with you!

The deposit on a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is $200. Your deposit is made at the time you book your reservation. You are correct that your deposit is applied to the total cost of your trip. Your deposit is refundable as long as you cancel your visit 30-days or more prior to your arrival date. Please note that cancellation policies are subject to change. It's always a good idea to check the refund policy at the time you book your vacation!

While there are many hotel options to consider, when I visit "the magic," I like to stay in the magic at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection! These hotels offer complimentary transportation to the Disney Parks, Disney Springs, and Blizzard Beach Water Park! Also, when you stay at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection you are in close proximity to all of those locations! Also, you might just spot one or two of your favorite Disney characters visiting your resort hotel!

Now for that great news! At the current time, Guests can also take advantage of a special deal being offered when you book at a hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection! Guests can save up to 25% on a room reservation! This offer is valid for most stays from July 11, 2021, through September 29, 2021!
