Hi Jon, and welcome to planDisney!

I can certainly understand how overwhelming planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation can be. There is so much to consider, from the theme parks to the resorts and everything in between. The good news is that you have come to the right place as we are available to assist in any way we can, whether you decide to reserve your vacation on your own or not.

If you prefer assistance, I recommend contacting Disney Resort Hotel Reservations at (407) 939-1936, and a Disney Cast Member will be able to assist you in real time. I can testify from experience that they are patient and understand that all guests need assistance from time to time. Before you call, definitely have a budget in mind and figure out when you would like to visit. Once you have the dates you would like to visit, the next thing to do is figure out the resorts you are most interested in, and decide which theme parks you would like to visit, and go from there. Once the date, the resort, and theme park tickets are reserved, the rest will fall into place.
