We're departing from Port of Miami at 4:00 p.m. on November, what is the earliest we can board the ship because the hotel checks us out early? Also, the ship returns at 6:00 a.m. the last day, what is the latest we can get off? Hotel check in is at 4:00pm

    Welcome aboard, Juan -

Your Disney Cruise voyage is almost here - your whole family must be beaming with excitement, as you countdown the days until you set sail with Captain Mickey.

Most hotel check-out times are in the late morning (around 10 or 11am), so once you finish up with breakfast, you can leisurely get yourself to the Port to check-in and get ready for boarding. You can arrive early at the port and get checked in, but you'll need to wait until after your boarding group number is called. The earliest time that they normally clear passengers to board would be a little after 11 or 11:30am. Ideally, you would have already completed your online check-in to speed up the process even more at the port. It saves some time, and at least all your travel information can already be online and ready for the Disney Cruise check-in representatives to get you processed for boarding.

Disembarkation day is still a day to enjoy onboard. It's always a sad day for the little ones (and the adults) to wave bye to their pals, so do expect some sad faces when your family makes its way out of the gangway. My kids are so attached to the Disney Cruise, and leaving is always difficult for everyone. I encourage you to enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your main dining room on your last day. Your breakfast will be served at the same dining room where you enjoyed dinner the night before. You can also take this time to say goodbye to your dedicated dining team and you can personally hand them your gratuity envelope. Most guests are off the ship before 9am, since the ship actually needs to get ready for its next voyage.

    Have a wonderful trip, Juan!
