we will be departing on the MAGIC 2-10-2020 from Miami. I am trying to figure out what to do with the car seat. Does it need to be in a suitcase or can it be loose on top and will be delivered with our stuff to our state room

    Ahoy Jennie!

Wow-you are only ONE DAY AWAY from setting sail with Captain Mickey! I am thrilled to hear you are about to embark on the Disney Magic for a 5-night sailing with a Marvel Day at Sea! So finish packing using our handy dandy packing list and then get ready to have fun with all the magic included.

Good news! There’s no need to pack the car seat into your luggage. You will simply check it with bell services at the Cruise Terminal and they will tag it and make sure it gets delivered to your stateroom later in the day. Then all you need to do is find a place to tuck it away. My suggestions are either in one of the two closets or under the desk in the main sitting area.

Don’t feel like you have to bring everything from home because Disney Cruise Line tries to help streamline traveling with little Mouseketeers. For instance, bed rails, pack and plays, and strollers are all available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be requested from your stateroom host/hostess or Guest Services.

Jennie, wishing you a fun time of memory making and adventures on the high seas. Have a MAGICal voyage!

    Happy Sailing!
