Hi- We are departing on the Disney Wonder on December 30th for a New Year's Eve Cruise. I see that Christmas decorations on the Wonder are up until December 30th, will they still be up when we board or taken down before we board?

    Ahoy, Olivia!

Looks like you'll be ringing in 2015 aboard the beautiful Disney Wonder! What an awesome place to celebrate - sailing on the high seas with Captain Mickey and his crew.

We were lucky enough to be aboard the Disney Dream to ring in 2012. We were excited to discover that the ship was still decorated when we set sail on December 27th. Minnie Mouse even greeted us in the cruise terminal at Port Canaveral in her holiday wear! We were on the ship through New Year's, and disembarked on January 3rd. Immediately following our voyage, they began taking down the gorgeous decorations.

While I can't guarantee the Christmas decorations will remain up through the New Year's celebration, I think you can probably expect to be able to enjoy them during your sailing! You'll also get to enjoy special events to celebrate the New Year, including a deck party and a champagne toast at midnight. My favorite part of our celebration was seeing Donald Duck as "Baby New Year" and Goofy dressed as "Father Time"!

I hope you have a Wonder-ful time on your New Year's Eve Cruise!! Please come back and visit if you have any further questions before you set sail.

Happy Holidays, and Bon Voyage! - Diane W.
