We depart on Magic April 6, 2012. My niece turns 7 on that day. Which night is better to celebrate her birthday, the 6th or the next night? I'm told so much is going on the first night that she wouldn't stand out. I'm not sure what that means.

    Hi, Vicki!

A princess is going to stand out on her birthday no matter what -- especially on a Disney Cruise!  Make sure you note her birthday on your reservation by going to the Planning Center on DisneyCruise.com or by calling (800) 951-3532.  Then, when you arrive at dinner that evening, make sure you tell your head server about what you're celebrating. You may even want to grab a "Happy Birthday" button from the folks at the cruise terminal when you check in or at Guest Services when you're on board.  She'll get so much attention that she'll think that everyone on board came for her birthday!

On Embarkation Day, there is much going on -- but I personally think that that would add to the excitement of a birthday.  Plus, when you're that little, there's nothing like celebrating on your actual birthday.  You really can keep celebrating throughout the entire cruise if you want!

I hope that helps you plan.  Let me know if you have any more questions. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation.

    Bon voyage,

    Andi
