    Is a deluxe resort really worth the additiona cost? My husband and I can't agree on whether the additional convenience/ammenities etc. will justify the additional expense. What is your opinion? Top 3-5 reasons for Moderate vs. Deluxe resort? THanks!

    Thank you for your question!

    Having stayed at Disney's Value, Moderate, and Deluxe resorts--for us, the bottom line comes down to amenities.  At the Deluxe level, there are more amenities available.  This becomes increasingly important if you are choosing to spend more time at your resort.  If you are essentially using your resort for bathing and sleeping, then you likely won't notice the differences.

    Here's my top 5 for Deluxe vs Moderate

    1.  Larger room size (which is important if staying as a family of 5)--every inch counts!
    2.  Fancier pools (cooler slides)
    3.  Close proximity to fine dining (ie Victoria and Albert's, California Grill)
    4.  Closer proximity to Magic Kingdom (when staying at one of the Magic Kingdom area resorts)
    5.  Interior corridors
