Which deluxe resort hotel is the most convenient for visiting Galaxy's Edge? We will be going to Disney World this fall and want to focus our time on the Star Wars rides and exhibits.

    Hi Clara,

Great news: You have lots of fabulous deluxe resort options just steps away from Star Wars Galaxy's Edge.

The Boardwalk, Yacht Club and Beach Club resorts -- along with the Swan and Dolphin -- are all adjacent to Disney's Hollywood Studios. The resorts circle Crescent Lake, between Hollywood Studios and Epcot. Each is a short walk from the front entrance of Hollywood Studios, about 15 minutes or so.

Another bonus: The International Gateway entrance to Epcot is equally accessible.

Friendship Boats also connect the resorts and the two theme parks, but my family normally walks because it is quick and easy to do along the wide, well-marked sidewalk.

I've had great experiences staying in each of the resorts. They all have high-end amenities, popular restaurants and lounges and lots to see and do. The Yacht Club is my favorite, though it's really hard to choose a No. 1. To us, Yacht Club feels a little more quiet and adult, so it's a calm place to relax after a day in the parks. And if pools are your thing, Stormalong Bay is among the best.

Thanks for your question, Clara. Wishing you a magical stay, whichever resort you choose. And please check back with us if you have any questions about planning your visit to Galaxy's Edge. Enjoy!
