Which deluxe resort has the best "adult" pool?

    Hi Ramona!

The best pool at Walt Disney World is Stormalong Bay.  It is a mini-water park and has components for all ages.  The pool is shared by Disney's Beach Club and Yacht Club Resorts.

We had a mini-family reunion in July 2009 and everybody stayed at the Beach Club.  Everybody, and we had family members from 2 to 68 years old, loved the Beach Club because of Stormalong Bay.  After Stormalong Bay, my opinion is the next best pool is at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  However, many Walt Disney World veterans would disagree with me.

A benefit of staying at the Beach or Yacht Club is you can walk to Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios, though it is a long walk to the Studios.  There is also boat service to the two theme parks.  Since the hotels are on Crescent Lake, you can also walk to Disney's Boardwalk for some nighttime entertainment, including Jellyrolls, a fabulous dueling piano bar.  There are also a lot of Table Service restaurants in the area:
    • At Disney Resort Hotels on Crescent Lake
    • Walt Disney World Swan
    • Walt Disney World Dolphin
    • Restaurants in the World Showcase section of Epcot
Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
