We are on the deluxe meal plan (3 meals/day). We check in at 4 pm that day, so there is no way we can use all 3 meals. Is the plan 3 meal x 5 day = 15 meals and we can use them anytime throughout our stay or do you lose the meals you dont use in a day?

    Hi Kris!

I'm glad to hear that you are getting ready for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation where you will be taking advantage of the Disney dining plans. I love being able to enjoy incredible dining experiences during our vacation without having to worry about the cost of each meal as the majority of our dining expenses are paid in advance!

All of the dining plans are based on your Disney Resort hotel reservation and you will receive one set of dining entitlements, based on your dining plan, for each person on your reservation per night of your reservation. So since it sounds like you will be using the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan for a 4-night vacation, each person on your reservation will receive 12 meal entitlements and 8 snack entitlements to use during your trip.

The fantastic thing about the Disney dining plans is that you can use your dining entitlements flexibly throughout your vacation as you choose and you aren't required to use one set of entitlements each day. So since you are arriving in the afternoon on your check-in day, you can use one or two dining entitlements that day, saving your remaining dining entitlements for later in your vacation!

Kris, be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app because it's the easiest way to track and manage all of your dining entitlements during your trip! Also, feel free to come back to see us if you have additional questions. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
