We are on the Deluxe DP for Sept 2018. If my 4y rold should decide he is not hungry at a restaurant, probably because he just at a Mickey Pretzel, does he have to order off the menu at our ADR? Can we save his credit for later?

    Hi Stephanie!

Thanks for posting your question about the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am a huge fan of the wonderful Dining Plans at Walt Disney World Resort, and one of the things I appreciate most about them is their flexibility. Once you check in at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you can use your Disney Dining Plan entitlements at any time and for anyone. Just be sure to use them all up before midnight on the day you check out.

So, if your son is not hungry when you sit down for a table service or quick service meal, he does not have to order from the menu and use one of his Disney Dining Plan entitlements. The one exception to that, however, would be if your family is dining at a buffet or family-style meal. In that case, everyone present will be charged a Disney Dining Plan entitlement. Otherwise, you can just save your son's Disney Dining Plan entitlement for another time.

Since you are traveling in September, you may already know that this is the month you should call to make advance dining reservations for any table service restaurants you'd like to experience during your vacation. Just call (407) WDW-DINE, or (407) 939-3463, up to 180 days in advance of your arrival.

I do hope your family enjoys using the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan. Just think how many Mickey pretzels you could purchase with all those snack credits. Yum!

    Bon appétit,
    Jill
