We will have the Deluxe Dining Plan (two adults, one child). If we eat at Columbia Harbour House it’s my understanding that each adults can order a combo platter and drink. Can my child order the soup option? It’s not a snack and not on the kids menu.

Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Ashlee! The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to leave worry at home and really enjoy your time at the table. The Disney Deluxe Dining Plan is a great amount of food, making sure you have a place to rest while you fill your tummy!

Columbia Harbor House is a Quick-Service location, but you can use a table credit here for a combo plate and a drink. You child’s deluxe dining credit could be used for a meal here, as well, but if the soup option is not considered a snack (you can confirm this at the restaurant) and is not on the kid’s menu (so you can use your child’s meal credit), then you will end up paying a la carte for the item. Planning like this is key for making full use of your valuable table credits, so if there is a better restaurant choice that gets you more bang for your buck, you may want to consider that.
