    I got the Deluxe Dining Plan and would like to get some tips on the reservations. Should I book my restaurants around the parks I'll be in or book my park trips around the restaurants I want to eat at. Any Tips?

    Hi Janine,

    Here's what I typically do as I'm mapping out my itinerary for my family's trips to Walt Disney World:

    1.  Look at the theme park calendars to see which theme park offer Extra Magic Hours on the dates of my vacation.  This helps me choose which theme park I'll be in on each day of my trip.

    2.  Choose restaurants within each theme park for the days I've determined I'll be visiting.  Select a few additional restaurants to use as a back-up plan in case my favorites are not available.  (It's fun to find new favorites!)

    3.  Call (407) WDW-DINE to make my advance dining reservations 180 days before my arrival.

    In summary, I'd choose my theme park days first and then build my dining reservations around that schedule.  There are so many wonderful restaurants at Walt Disney World that I'm sure you can find great places to dine in each of the Disney theme parks.
