We have the Deluxe Dining Plan & reservations at The Boathouse. I know for adults it will cost us 2 credits each, but does it cost 2 for each kid as well? If so, wouldn't we be better off paying out of pocket for the kids and saving the credits?

Hello Shaunna and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with yet another super question about your upcoming magical plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort.
During my families last Disney trip we enjoyed a boat-a-ful evening of dining fun at The BOATHOUSE: Great Food, Waterfront Dining, Dream Boats and whilst yes, it could be considered costly by either redeeming 2 x dining credits per Guest or by paying out of pocket, but oh my gosh it was so good and in our opinion was certainly worth the spending splurge!
You've made such a great choice by opting to use the Deluxe Disney Dining Plan during your stay and as I'm sure you already know each Guest (including children aged 3 and over) on this plan currently receives 3 x Meals and 2 x Snacks per night of stay, plus a Resort Refillable Mug.
Therefore I would say that if you enjoy fine cooked steaks and special seafood dishes THE BOATHOUSE is the perfect nautical dining spot for you and your family.
    Have a great Disney day.
