1st ? is the deluxe dining plan really worth the extra money and what is the actual price difference between the 2 I have a 5 year old and almost 2 year old and do not want them eating junk the entire trip! Also am anticipating the need for more snacks

    Hi Keri!

I think that the deluxe dining plan can definitely be worth the extra cost if you plan to eat at least 2 table service meals a day or plan to dine at any of the signature restaurants that require redemption of two table service credits per person.

The current cost of the regular dining plan is $39.99 for adults and $10.99 for children ages 3-9. The deluxe dining plan has a current cost of $71.99 for adults and $20.99 for children. That is a price difference of $32 for adults and $10 for children ages 3-9.

Keep in mind that the deluxe plan gives you three meal credits that can be used for any combination of table and quick service meals. You could eat three table service meals a day if you wish. Also, when using the deluxe dining plan, appetizers are included at all table service meals for adults and children in addition to your entree, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. Lastly, each person gets two snack credits per day and a refillable mug that can be used for unlimited refills at your resort.

To see if the deluxe plan would be a good fit for your family, I would recommend making a list of the places you wish to dine. Visit www.allears.net and look over the menus and get an idea of what your meals might cost on average. To see the menus click "Dining" at the top of the homepage and "The Menus" on the left side of the screen.

The deluxe plan offers a lot of food, but also gives you more flexibility and variety than the regular plan because you can enjoy more of the table service restaurants.

I hope this helps! Good luck deciding!
