We get the deluxe dining plan but one of our party can’t eat desserts is there anything they can do

    Hi Dean!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am happy to see that you will be using the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, offering you the ultimate in flexibility.  I always use a Disney Dining Plan every time I visit Walt Disney World Resort.   I enjoy the convenience and value it offers, and the fact I can use it across the whole Resort, at the theme parks, the Disney Resort hotels and at select locations at Disney Springs.  With the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan you will receive, per Guest, per night of stay, 3 Meals (Table-Service or Quick-Service, whichever you choose), and 2 Snacks.  Each Table-Service Meal will give you 1 appetizer, 1 entree, 1 dessert and a drink (non-alcoholic, or alcoholic for guests aged 21 and over).  There is a certain amount of flexibility sometimes but it is totally at the discretion of each individual restaurant, so if you wish to exchange a dessert for a side order, or a drink, for example, you would need to discuss this with your server.  At some locations when using your Quick-Service credits you may swap your drink for a side, or a dessert, and in select restaurants you may exchange 1 Quick-Service credit for 3 Snack credits.  It's always worth asking!

Remember that Table-Service reservations are highly recommended, and can be made up to 180 days in advance, either online, or by using your My Disney Experience account.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
