We have the deluxe dining plan for our next trip to Disney world! How does a meal credit count if we do quick service or snacks in lieu of a sit down meal?

    Hello Elizabeth!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question about Disney Dining Plans!

Disney Dining Plans are so convenient, and really turn your vacation into an all-inclusive experience! How amazing is it to arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort and dine at your favorite locations knowing all your meals are already paid for? Simply magical!

Elizabeth, meal entitlements on the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan are not divided between Quick-Service or Table-Service credits. Each Guest in your party will receive three meals per night of your stay, and these meals can be redeemed at either Quick-Service or Table-Service locations. The only thing you have to note is that signature dining locations, dinner shows, and other locations may require two credits per Guest, so plan accordingly.

I once visited on the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan, and used the snack credits for breakfast in the morning at my Disney Resort hotel, redeemed one meal credit for lunch at a table-service location (but it could have been at a quick-service location too), and then had dinner at a signature dining restaurant that requires two credits. You are welcome to redeem your entitlements in any order you wish to until they are all depleted, so you can use more than the allotted 3 meals per night in one single day. I once had breakfast at Cinderella’s Royal Table and dinner at California Grill, and at both restaurants two credits are required per Guest. It is all about planning how to best use your credits!

I hope this helps you while planning! Please stop by real soon if you have additional questions.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
