    I have the deluxe dining plan. What if we don't use all the meals?

    Hey, Misty!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. If there is one great benefit to staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel it is the ability to add a Disney Dining Plan to your magical vacation. Leave it to Mickey and the gang to cook and bake some of the most scrumptious meals you will ever eat.

    Unused 2016 Disney Deluxe Dining Plan meal credits are not refundable. So if you don't use them you lose them. You may share your meal credits with any Guest dining with you by informing the server at the beginning of your meal. However, there are ways of using these credits to get unique Walt Disney World Resort experiences. You may use two meal credits at once to dine at Dinner Shows, Signature Restaurants, and for certain Character Dining experiences. You may also use two credits for Private In-Room Dining/Pizza Delivery at certain Disney Resort hotels. Take a look this brochure to explore all your options.
     
    If there are too many meals for you then I suggest purchasing a 2016 Disney Dining Plan with fewer meal credits.

    We typically have snack credits remaining so we stock up on Disney sweets in our luggage and take some of the magic back home.

    Disney Dad Tip: One trip we had a remaining meal credit remaining on our last day for each member of our party. We assembled a great lunch and had the Disney team at Landscape of Flavors in Disney's Art of Animation Resort pack it up for us to take to the airport. All Resort hotels will have a restaurant that will do this for you.
