We get the Deluxe Dining Plan where child & adult credits are counted the same. I have recently heard that this has changed and we now have to use the child credits for children's menu items. How are credits being counted now; has it changed?

    Hi Amanda!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We are so glad to hear from you again.

In my opinion, one of the best things about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is all the dining options! There are so many choices that I believe that everyone can find something to satisfy their cravings!

My family loves participating in the Disney Dining Plans. We love knowing that our meals are already paid for prior when we sit down to eat. I hope that you come hungry because the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan allows you to indulge! Each person including in your party age three and over, will receive three meals and two snacks or Non-Alcoholic Drinks each night of your package stay. Each guest will also receive a refillable drink mug that can be used at self-service beverage islands at Quick-Service locations at any Disney Resort hotel. Guests ages 3 to 9 must order from a children’s menu where available. Therefore, if your child is between the ages of 3-9, they will be presented with a children’s menu to order from when available.

I want to remind you to take full advantage of advance dining reservations. Dining Reservations can be made 180 days in advance of your arrival. If you have a list of “must-do” dining locations, I highly recommend making your reservations!

I hope you have a magical time!
