On deluxe dine can meals be shared? 10 yr old not big eater, wonder if splitting could save meal credit to be applied when we have a 2 credit meal. So much food...any tips for best use of app., entree, and dessert?

    Hi Amy,

It looks like you will be ready to celebrate the New Year at Walt Disney World Resort. How exciting!

We love the Dining Plans. The convenience of being able to prepay for our food and incorporate it into a Magic Your Way Vacation Package is great. No worries about meal budgets! For us, the Disney Dining Plan is perfect, however we are thinking about upgrading to the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan since there are several Signature restaurants that we are looking to enjoy.

The Disney Deluxe Dining gives you three meals and three Snacks to everyone in your reservation, per night of stay. You can choose between Quick-Service or Table-Service meal. All credits are available from the moment you Check-In until midnight of your Check-Out day so you have the flexibility to use them when you please. We typically use Snacks and the Resort Refillable mug for breakfast, and share some Quick-Service meals. We then have extra credits for Signature restaurants, or a show like Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.

One last tip: my kids sometimes load themselves with Snacks in the afternoon, and then are not too hungry at night. Sometimes they simply order an appetizer as a meal, which we pay out of pocket, instead of using a meal credit. Oh, and do not forget to book your dining 180 days in advance. Happy planning!

    Ricardo.
