Hello Charlotte, and welcome back to planDisney. A
club level stay at a Disney Resort hotel is one of the many items on my Walt Disney World bucket list, and I'm glad that you have the opportunity to enjoy the
amenities that are included with such a stay on your upcoming visit to
Disney's BoardWalk Inn! Let's get an answer to your question about taking food to go from the club level lounge.
I recently took a tour of Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and they took us up to the club level lounge as part of our visit. There were quite a few people sitting at tables enjoying drinks, the provided snacks, and a showing of Big Hero 6 on the TV. One of the snacks offered midday was a create-your-own trail mix bag. This was one of the snacks that was designed as a to-go option, along with the ice cream novelties like Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars and Mickey Ice Cream Sandwiches. The other items on offer were taken by guests from larger serving plates at the buffet and put on individual ceramic plates. The Cast Member let us know that these snacks and hors d'oeuvres are designed to be eaten in the lounge. I can confirm that there were no to-go trays, but there were small to-go boxes available when I visited the lounge at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
My experience was at a different hotel than the one where you are staying, and it was midday. The concierge Cast Members at the lounge will know best what the protocols for to-go food will be during your stay, so please check with them when you arrive.
I hope this information helps you plan your visit to the club level lounge! Please let us know if there are additional questions we can answer for you over here at planDisney.
Stay magical,
Scott
