Hi there, Phyllis, and welcome to planDisney!
I see you're doing a bit of Spring Cleaning and are looking to remove an old MagicBand from your My Disney Experience account. I recently uncovered a colorful stack of MagicBands that would make my wrist worthy of a Taylor Swift concert, so let's tidy up together!
I know you mentioned that you've already deactivated the MagicBand, but I'll walk you through the steps again in case you're like me and are surprised to find several eras of MagicBands still active. Once you have logged into your
My Disney Experience account, hover your mouse over the 'My Disney Experience' heading at the top right corner of the page and select 'My MagicBands & Cards' from the dropdown menu that populates. Once you are on the 'MagicBands and Cards' page, scroll down until you see 'Manage MagicBands and Cards' and select the triangle beside your name. That should populate a list of all active MagicBands on your account. From this list, you want to scroll (if necessary) until you see the number of the MagicBand (located on the back of the band below your name) you would like to deactivate.
If you're looking to remove the MagicBand from the list altogether, unfortunately, there's no magical method to do this online. You'll need to reach out to a friendly Cast Member at the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ line who will be happy to assist you with the process.
When you're able to check this task off of your Spring To-Do List, I encourage you to reward yourself with a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. In my opinion, the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival makes it the best time of the year to find yourself in the middle of the magic, and as one of Mickey's neighbors, you have access to
great deals all year long!
I hope this was helpful, Phyllis, and that you have the MagicBand removed from your account before I can say, "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious". If you have any additional questions for us at planDisney, don't hesitate to stop back by! We're always
happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
