Hi Edel! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
Greetings from across the Atlantic. I dream of the day that I am finally able to plan a trip to the wonderful country you call home. Ireland is on my short list of countries I am eagerly anticipating a visit to.
I've had this happen to me one too many times with many different types of online accounts. Once a second account is created, it makes it difficult to ensure that future information goes to the right account. With your upcoming Walt Disney World trip, having your tickets, resort, and dining all
on the same account is imperative to making sure your vacation goes smoothly. My first suggestion would be to try to move all existing reservations and tickets to one account. It sounds like you may have already tried reassigning them and have had some trouble. If for some reason you are able to do so, you can then delete the one account that does not have any pertinent information on it. To delete an account, visit
Communication Choices on The Walt Disney Company Privacy site. Select "Disney, ESPN, ABC, Marvel, and Star Wars accounts" and log into the account you wish to delete. Once logged in, scroll down until you can select "Delete Account".
If you wish to delete both of your accounts, you will need to follow the steps above for the second account. Once deleted, I would then create a new account to use going forward. My hope is that once the new account is created, you can link your resort and ticket information using your confirmation codes upon purchase. If this works and the system links them properly, then you should be good to go for your trip. My only concern about doing this is not being able to link your information again. I would highly suggest
reaching out to Website Support and speaking to a Cast Member for assistance. They will be able to make the correct fixes on their end to ensure no information is lost.
Edel, once you get this squared away, you can focus your attention on your actual trip! With so many new experiences that have recently debuted at the Walt Disney World Resort, you will have plenty to look forward to on this trip! I hope you have a magical time!
See ya real soon!
