Hiya Suad!
Thank you so much for sending us your question, and welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet. As a fellow Canadian, I greatly empathize with you as I completely understand the challenges of travelling during these unprecedented times. I am so sorry to hear that you will have to push back your magical vacation, and I hope you are doing okay, but I am glad that I can help you and bring you some Disney magic!
Thanks to
My Disney Experience, you can reschedule every part of your magical vacation so that you can return to the magic real soon! For your tickets, simply sign in to your My Disney Experience account and click on "My Plans." Then, scroll down a bit and click on the "Tickets & Memory Maker" tab in blue. You should be able to then click on "Change Ticket" and modify your vacation dates. However, if you have any issues with this step and cannot reschedule your tickets before they expire, do not worry!
The value of your tickets never expires, and you will be able to use it as a credit the next time you purchase theme park tickets of equal or higher value. To use your credit, you will have to
call or see a Cast Member at a ticketing window at the main entrance of any of the parks. Now, if you had a
Resort hotel reservation, theme park reservations or dining reservations, you can also reschedule them by clicking on "Modify Reservation" in your account's "My Plans" section or by calling a Cast Member as well.
Now, Suad, I can only imagine how disappointed you must be feeling. However, the good news is that you have plenty of time to come and experience the
World's Most Magical Celebration! Indeed, the Walt Disney World Resort's 50th anniversary is an 18-month celebration that will last until the beginning of 2023, so you do not have to worry about missing it! My favourite thing to do to fight the post-Disney blues is to start planning my next trip, so you could look at all the
fun, festive treats you will be trying or all the activities you will want to try. Also, I always love planning my trips around the different EPCOT festivals. For example, you have until July to catch the current edition of the
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival. However, this unfortunate situation allows you to consider the other festivals as well and maybe reschedule your trip in time for the one that might interest you the most!
I hope this was helpful, Suad, and that you and your family get to experience the Disney magic real soon! If you have any other questions when planning your next trip, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're always happy to help, and if you're ever wondering if we can answer a question or not, the answer is: Yes, we Can-ada.
Have a magical day and stay safe,
Ariane
