Definitely not a mom but still trying to plan here! My question is if I have a 7am reservation for breakfast at the contemporary but I'm staying at coronado springs. Will there be a bus available at that time to take me there?

    Hi Garrett,

First of all, you don't have to be a mom to be a fantastic planner! There are several dads here on the panel that do the planning for their families. What matters is that you are able to create a magical vacation within your budget and expectations. So, I'm glad to hear that you are doing just that.

The easiest thing to do would be to check with your resort concierge when you arrive and ask if there is a special character breakfast bus running from your resort. In the past, there is a special bus that takes guests with early morning character dining reservations to the parks in order to make these reservations. Be sure to ask what time and where you catch this specially marked bus.  If this is possible, take it to Magic Kingdom and then follow the walkway to Disney's Contemporary Resort (about a 5 minute walk which is shorter than riding the monorail). Keep in mind that this special bus may not be available, so in that case, you might need to take a cab or the regular bus to Magic Kingdom, then walk over to the resort, as mentioned above. Disney transportation does typically begin about an hour prior to park opening. If you decide to take a cab, the ride itself would probably 8-10 minutes. You could check with bell services to call a cab and inquire about the estimated cost of that cab ride.

    Have a magical trip!
