    Since we are definitely coming to WDW this coming Thanksgiving I would like to know where some of the best places to have a Thansgiving meal would be? Also, how far in advance would I need to make reservations?

         Hello Amy and thank you for your question!  You are coming during a great time of year!  Walt Disney World will be transformed for the holidays and this will definitely kick-off your season.    
    Now, as for your Thanksgiving meal, many of the Walt Disney World restaurants offer a great dining experience.  I made a few phone calls to Disney Dining cast members to see what restaurants would be offering a Thanksgiving meal this year.  They have yet to receive any information regarding the Thanksgiving holidays.  The good news is that, year after year, the majority of the restaurants offer a Thanksgiving meal.  
    I do want to pass on some of my family's favorite places to have our Thanksgiving meal.  We have been doing this for many years and they never fail to offer the big meal.  The Liberty Tree Tavern is our favorite.  It offers an 18th century colonial feel and makes for the perfect Thanksgiving setting.  'Ohana also offers a great family setting.  If you are looking for a character dining experience for your Thanksgiving meal, the Crystal Palace will be a dream.  
    You may start setting up your reservations 180 days in advance.  At this time you may contact Disney Dining at (407) WDW-Dine.  They will have already received their information regarding what restaurants will be offering Thanksgiving meals.  Let me know if I can help with any other questions you may have.
