What is the default minimum check in age for all hotels and resorts?

    Hiya Max!

Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your resort question. My family and I love staying right in the heart of the magic at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Each resort has its own theme and personality, and it really does add an extra sprinkle of pixie dust to the whole trip. One of our all-time favorites is the Animal Kingdom Lodge. There is nothing quite like sipping your morning coffee while watching giraffes and zebras stroll past your savanna-view window. Talk about a wild way to start the day.

Now let’s jump right into your question. To book and check into a hotel reservation at Disney World, the guest must be at least 18 years old. Guests under the age of 18 will need a parent or legal guardian’s permission to make the reservation.

One of the best parts about staying at a Disney Resort is all the magical perks that come along with it. You can take advantage of Early Theme Park Entry, which lets you enter the parks 30 minutes before other guests. That head start can be a game-changer for popular attractions. You also get complimentary transportation to and from the theme parks and Disney Springs. Whether you are hopping on a bus, gliding on the Skyliner, cruising by boat, or riding the monorail, getting around feels like part of the adventure itself.

Max, I hope this helps answer your question and gets you even more excited about your Disney stay. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us again.

    See ya real soon,

    Christina
