Hi Kolby,
Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I do understand wanting to know the pool depth so that you can judge if your little ones can stand in the water!
You should know that, as listed on their website, Silver Creek Springs Pool at
Disney's Wilderness Lodge will be under refurbishment from early September to late November this year. This is the main pool at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. During the time that this is under refurbishment, you will be able to use Hidden Springs Quiet Pool, which is also located at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, close to the villas there.
The shallowest depth at the Silver Creek Springs Pool is approximately three feet, and at the Hidden Springs Quiet Pool it is approximately three feet, three inches. These are approximations. Both pools also have wide stairs for entering the pool, so if your children cannot touch in the pool, they would be able to stand on the stairs.
My fellow Moms Panelist Erin, who I must thank for her help on this question, wrote a great article with information on Walt Disney World resort pools. To find it, visit the unofficial site touringplans.com. From there, search "Wilderness Lodge pool," and from the results choose the article "Get to Know the Disney World Pools, Part Four: The Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resort Pools." You can scroll through the article to find information on Disney's Wilderness Lodge pools.
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Kolby. Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
