How deep are the landing areas at the water parks? My son is just over 4 feet tall but not an independent swimmer yet. Thanks.

Hi Maria! It is hard to plan a Disney trip without also planning a day in the pools or water parks. With the two great water parks right on property you have many options available in addition to the  wonderful resort pool complexes.

Every water attraction at each of the parks will be a bit different as far as how they end and how deep the water is. What I strongly suggest to all guests visiting with young children is that they keep a safety life vest on them throughout the day. This gives you peace of mind for your fun day. Life jackets are available at each park or if you have one that you know fits your son you may bring that as well.

You can check out the different rides at each park via the web by searching either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach. Some descriptions also include reviews by previous guests and this might help you plan your day and to pick the best park for your son!

    Enjoy and stay cool!
