When do the decorations for Christmas come down

    Welcome back to planDisney, Susan!

Thank you for stopping by once again! It is a pleasure to continue to assist you as you plan magical memories at the Walt Disney World Resort!

December is my favorite time of the year to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth. I am a big fan of all the festive offerings and experiences, especially the beautiful Christmas decorations at the theme parks, Disney Springs, and Disney Resort hotels.

Decorations gradually start coming down after the first week of January and after the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. However, since you are arriving on December 31, you will still enjoy the holiday decorations for a few days. For a taste of the holidays throughout the year, be sure to visit Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe at Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Days of Christmas at Disney Springs.

I hope this information is helpful, Susan! Come back to visit us if you have additional questions and have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
