I decorated my magic band but covered the mickey with a scrap book sticker (one of the ones that's a construction paper materiel) and coated it with several layers of clear coat nail polish, will it still work? I'm worried it won't scan.

    Hi Julie,

Thanks so much for asking your question here on the Moms Panel. I've seen so many wonderfully decorated MagicBands lately, either in the park or online! I did some research for you, and found that most Guests with decorated MagicBands have had no problems entering the park. I was told, however, that if you are going to decorate with a sticker or paper over the Mickey Mouse symbol, that you should do so with thin paper. I'm not sure how thick the paper was that you used, but hopefully it will be thin enough that your Mickey can be scanned. If the paper was a bit thick, I would prepare for a possible hiccup at park entrance.

I hope this answer helps you, Julie. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask us anytime. We're always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
