Hello there, Charmyra! Welcome to planDisney, the perfect place to ask questions like the one you have asked!
I jumped at the chance to answer your question because something similar happened to me last week, but instead of the
Haunted Mansion, it was on
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. I had just gotten
"Conga" for the third consecutive time (after never getting it before) and I was eager to share my on-ride photo, but when it came time to choose my picture, none of them were of my husband and me! But don't worry, I have a solution for you that my good friend Kim showed me how to use.
If you are missing a Disney PhotoPass photo, simply
fill out the form to contact the Disney PhotoPass Service. You'll be asked for the date, where the photo was taken, and the type of photo. You'll also want to input a description of each Guest who was present in the missing photo and there's even a place for you to upload a photo from that day of the Guests who were riding the attraction to help locate the image. You'll then input some of your information. If found, you'll find it in your account once located. If it isn't found, you may receive an email from a Cast Member asking for more information.
My friend Kim and I have often been successful with this workaround and the photos usually show up pretty quickly! In my experience, this is much more likely the more information you provide. And while I'm sure this isn't describing you, I just want to note that if Disney deems the content of a photo to be inappropriate, offensive, or of poor quality, they do reserve the right to remove or refuse to post/upload that material. You can review the full
Terms & Conditions for more information on this policy and others related to the
Disney PhotoPass Service.
Charmyra, I hope the missing photo of your fun times with the Happy Haunts of the mansion makes its way to your
My Disney Experience account and doesn't permanently become a resident of this quirky and spooky mansion. After all, I don't think the Ghost Host is referring to a
picture when he says that there's room for one more!
If you have any other questions,
you can reach out to me and I'll get those answers to you!
Hurry back,
Matt
