    How do I decline a new magicband? We have premium ones from a trip we had to cancel a few months ago and want to use them instead of getting new ones.

    Thanks for your question. I like the complimentary MagicBands Disney has to offer, but it's always extra cool to get a premium, custom, or limited edition MagicBand as well. Not only does the MagicBand serve as your one-stop shop to "The Disney Experience" (resort hotel access, dining, theme park tickets, shopping, etc.), but they also make for very bold fashion statements! :-)

    Disney guests can activate/deactivate MagicBands via your My Disney Experience account at DisneyWorld.com. Here is what you will need to do:

    1. Go to DisneyWorld.com and click on the My Disney Experience link with the hidden Mickey near the top-right of the homepage.

    2. Log in to My Disney Experience or register (if this is your first time using My Disney Experience).

    3. Once you are logged in, hover over My Disney Experience and select "My MagicBands and Cards." Here is where you can decline (deactivate) the MagicBands you don't want associated with a family member, and activate or add the premium ones you prefer to use. Just look for the Magic ID Number on the back of your premium bands, as this number will be required to link the MagicBand to the respective member of your party in My Disney Experience.
