How do I decline magic bands?

    Hi Melinda,

Hello to a fellow Florida resident! Thanks for stopping in with your question.

Every time you renew your annual pass or stay at a Walt Disney World resort, you are entitled to a new complimentary MagicBand. While that's a great benefit, if you are a regular visitor, you can end up with a large collection.

If you are happy with a favorite or just don't need or want to receive additional MagicBands, you can decline them in your My Disney Experience account. Simply sign in and go to the My MagicBands and Cards section. Instead of ordering new MagicBands, you can click a button to decline them. You can deactivate aging or no-long-used MagicBands there as well.

MagicBands are tied to you, not to any specific resort stay, so you can use them over and over, and all active MagicBands are interchangeable. Each should have a life of at least two years.

I hope that is useful, Melinda. Please let us know if you have any other questions about planning a Walt Disney World vacation. Enjoy!
