Hello, Alice! It's wonderful to have you visit us at planDisney with your question. Thanks for stopping by!
It's probably not a surprise that I love to plan, and part of the fun of planning a Disney Cruise is envisioning all that is offered onboard each ship. The Disney Cruise Line website has
a page with interactive deck plans for each ship in the fleet. You can find that link right
here. The Disney Magic and Disney Wish are both wonderful ships with very different layouts. I hope you'll have fun exploring the deck plans to get a sense of the two ships.
The
Disney Magic is smaller than the Disney Wish, and I enjoy the cozier feel onboard. I also love
Rapunzel's Royal Table (exclusive to the Magic) and the entertainment you can enjoy while dining there. Another family favorite onboard the Disney Magic is the thrilling
AquaDunk. It's definitely a plus for anyone who likes the idea of plummeting down a waterslide and doesn't shy away from getting wet.
Of the two ships you are considering, the
Disney Wish is newer and larger. The Grand Hall is a beautiful space that feels like a castle at sea. It's grand in every sense of the word, with delightful details and lovely areas to explore at every turn. If you have fans of
Frozen or
superheroes in your travel party, they'll love the entertaining dining options offered onboard. When it comes to fun in the water, the Wish has a first-of-its-kind attraction at sea, the
AquaMouse. This is less thrilling than the AquaDunk and more of a storytelling-meets-a-waterslide experience.
Alice, if you have more questions as you decide on a cruise that is the perfect fit for you and your sailing crew, please return to planDisney. My pals and I are happy to help however we can!
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
