We are deciding what package to purchase for the Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique. How does the selection of princess gowns compare to the Disney Store? I was thinking of purchasing one ahead of time and have her wear it to the Boutique.

Hi John. Your Princess is going to LOVE Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique! My daughter has visited both locations (Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs) and both are truly magical!

We have both pre-purchased the gown and accessories and bought them with a package. While we didn't have any issues, I like the idea of purchasing the gown ahead of time just to be sure she gets exactly what she wants. If your Princess will be riding in a stroller, be cautious of the length of her gown and the wheels of the stroller.

Another reason I like pre-purchasing the gown and accessories ahead of time is because she will have other decisions to make. Our first experience, while magical, was a bit overwhelming. From gown, to accessories to hairstyle selection...my Princess had just turned 3 and it was a lot to choose from at that young age. I would also suggest that you plan ahead as much as possible. When you arrive, she will select one of three hairstyles and then you will select the package. For her, keep it simple and let her focus on the magic.

The Fairy Godmothers-in-Training have all been magnificent and the makeovers are always so magical! Though my Princess is growing up and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is no longer part of our must-do list, she still has her Princess sash and cinch sack and they are keepsakes she treasures.

When it's time for her to lose the beautiful hairstyle, I want to share a tip with you that we learned from another mom. Before washing her hair with shampoo, start with conditioner. Then wash and condition her hair again. The styling products should come out easily if you follow those steps.I'm so excited for your Princess. I know she will enjoy every moment of her magical makeover!
