Hi! We're deciding between French Quarter and Pop Century. Which room would better accommodate 2 adults, 3 kids-one of which is in a pack n play (1 year old)?

    Hi, there!

Holly, I'm so pleased to hear you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort with little ones in tow! You are sure to make lots of magical memories together.

You ask about two fantastic Disney Resort hotels for your family of five. As a mom of three, I'm happy to help you make your decision. Let's chat!

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is perfectly charming with cobblestone streets, gaslit lamps, wrought-iron balconies, and the smooth sounds of jazz floating through the air. What I love the most about this unique hotel is the small footprint of the resort which makes the pool, gift shop, Quick-Service dining location, and bus stop just a short walk away from your room. My kids are big fans of the ferryboat service to Disney Springs - it's one of their favorite "attractions" at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Disney's Pop Century Resort is lots of fun with larger-than-life nods to popular culture throughout the resort. The rooms at this Resort hotel were recently renovated and now feature two Queen-sized beds (one is a pull-down bed), fun theming, and loads of storage. When I stayed at Disney's Pop Century Resort with friends last fall, I couldn't believe how efficiently designed the room was! I noted several spots that would perfectly accommodate a Pack 'n Play for my toddler.

Choosing between these two Resort hotels isn't easy! If you were planning on vacationing in the summer months, I would recommend Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter because the pools are super kid-friendly. Since you'll be traveling in the winter though, I suggest booking a stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort. With three kids in tow, I think you'll really appreciate all the storage in your room and I think your kids will love the Disney Character theming! You'll also be able to take advantage of the brand-new Disney Skyliner for transportation to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Talk about convenience!

I hope this was helpful, Holly. Please let me know if you have any other questions about your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
