Deciding between AK Villa or BC Villa. My son is 3 and loves animals but loves the beach. I read the pool is amazing at BC not to mention the location to the parks is great! AK's rooms are nicer looking and it looks unreal but it's far from parks. Help!!

Howdy Jessica! Such a hard decision!! I say do a split stay and enjoy them both! If you are not up for the split stay, I am inclined to suggest Disney's Beach Club Villas but, when faced with a similar decision, I wrote the name of both Resorts down on separate pieces of paper and the winning Resort was drawn from a hat.

We stayed at Kidani Village this past May and enjoyed every moment. The Resort is beautiful and they have great activities for kiddos. The Resort is newer than Disney's Beach Club Villas and the Villas seem a bit more spacious at Animal Kingdom, though the difference probably isn't that significant. Being able to see animals throughout the Resort was magical. The distance to and from the Theme Parks wasn't a huge drawback. The Disney transportation team is awesome. I would (and will) stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge again soon.

My currently 4 year old son voted for Beach Club (because of the pool). My hubby also gave a vote for Beach Club and it's all because of convenience. The ability to walk to Epcot or boat to Hollywood Studios is great.

Plus....there's Stormalong Bay. I truly cannot say enough about Stormalong Bay. I love the pools at the other Resorts but the sand bottom pool at Beach Club is over the top AWESOME! My little ones could stay there for hours.

If you select Beach Club, you can still enjoy seeing animals at Animal Kingdom Park. You might also think about booking a meal at one of the fabulous restaurants at Animal Kingdom Lodge and enjoy some time there.

If you select Animal Kingdom Lodge, you still have awesome pools and a vacation filled with animal sightings! Either way, you can't go wrong!!

I'm still voting for a split stay but I know that adds to your decision making. So excited for you! Thanks for your question and please let me know if you need any further information. Have a magical day!
