We decided to make a trip down to disney next week. It looks like Epcot is the only park with open reservations. If we wanted to visit a second park, should we purchase the park-hopper tickets and go to Epcot first, then another park after 2PM?

    Hi, there!

Welcome back to planDisney, Mary Sue. We are just delighted to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort again!

It sounds like you've done your research. You knew to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar before purchasing your Theme Park Tickets. SO smart! You are correct; if you are only able to book a Disney Park Pass for EPCOT, but you have a Theme Park Ticket with Park Hopper Option, you may visit another theme park after 2:00 PM. You just need to be sure to enter the theme park you have a reservation for before "hopping" to another! Isn't that great? When the Park Hopper Option returned to the Walt Disney World Resort, the Disney Parks Blog posted a super helpful infographic about how the new system works. Be sure to check it out!

If you'll be traveling with your little one in tow again, take a look at the Planning Guide for Preschool Parents. It has lots of great tips on attractions and activities that are perfect for younger kiddos!

I hope this was helpful, Mary Sue. Please visit us again with any new questions you may have about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort!
