We just decided to take a trip this December, the week before Christmas. We have no idea where to start, I also will be about 6 months pregnant and we have a four year old daughter. Please help!!!

    Hi Jessica,

Help is on the way! A magical holiday vacation at Walt Disney World Resort is nothing to stress about. It will end up being one of the most memorable experiences your family will have. As a mama that was 6 months pregnant during our last Walt Disney World vacation, I understand how anxious you may be. My daughter was 3 at the time, and she and I had a "Princess day" in the Magic Kingdom, all alone, during our vacation. It was amazing! Your baby belly won't slow you down, I promise.

My biggest suggestion for your upcoming vacation is to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This special event in Magic Kingdom will bring the spirit of the season to your family. I had the pleasure of attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for the first time last year and I still can't get over seeing snow fall on Main Street U.S.A. and being front and center for Holiday Wishes. This year, the party will have some "Frozen" special guests, so your 4 year old princess will love it! For more information about the event and how to acquire tickets, click here: Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

One other suggestion is to make your Advanced Dining Reservations as soon as you can. The holiday season is one of the busiest times to visit Walt Disney World and popular dining destinations like 1900 Park Fare and Chef Mickey's tend to book up quickly.

I hope these suggestions help you get the ball rolling on your vacation planning, Jessica. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me at any time. I'm always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
