We have decided to take a taxi to Fort Wilderness to see the Hoop Dee Doo. Where can we call a taxi for the return trip to our hotel at Port Orleans? Can we call from Pioneer Hall? Thank you. This panel is great for advice!

    Jane:

I think a taxi is a smart idea if you're only having to travel back to Port Orleans from the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue at Fort Wilderness.

Keep in mind that the taxi will not be allowed to drop you off at Pioneer Hall nor pick you up there. You'll be dropped off near the Outpost where check-in is located at Fort Wilderness, a good mile from the interior of the resort where Pioneer Hall and the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue is located. Once you're let off, you'll get to Pioneer Hall by walking over to the Outpost Bus Stop and take the first bus that is headed to the Settlement. (If you have a choice, choose the Orange Line. It's the most straight shot.) Likewise, you'll return to the Outpost to catch your taxi there. You'll take a bus back to the front of the resort to and call for your taxi pick up.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
