    We decided to stay at the Port of Orleans Riverside due to the bigger beds and trundle, however I am concerned that we will be too far away from the parks. Would it be best to change my reservations to a different resort, are there any quicker to get to?

    Hi, Konda!

    Without changing to a Deluxe resort, I think Riverside is a great choice!  I think you will be pleasantly surprised how quick the bus rides will be to the parks.  Both Port Orleans resorts (Riverside and French Quarter) are in a great location so your bus ride should be around 20/25 minutes or less to any location.

    A real bonus of Port Orleans is the boat ride to Downtown Disney.  What a treat to hop on a boat and cruise on over to Downtown Disney for lunch, bowling, shopping, or even a movie!  Riverside also offers great activities like catch-and-release fishing, bike rentals, and a super fun pool area.

    Now if you are willing to really "up" your vacation budget and want to be close to a theme park, you can look at the Contemporary where you can walk to the Magic Kingdom or the Beach Club where you can walk to Epcot.  Remember though, for other parks you will still have to take a bus as the parks are spread out throughout Disney property.

    I think you made a great choice.  Stick with it and enjoy the queen beds, the trundle, and make sure to take advantage of the boat transportation to Downtown Disney!  Have a magical vacation.
