We have decided to stay in a Deluxe Studio at the Poly. Now that kids are older(12&14) we decided we may need the extra room. Are these rooms considered standard or bungalow?Hoping to catch free dining but read these may be excluded?TY

    Aloha Diana!

You are going to love every minute of your stay at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. It is a tropical paradise nestled along Seven Seas Lagoon and situated directly across from Magic Kingdom Park. Without question, it is a truly magical place.

As the mother of a teenage boy, I completely understand your desire to expand your accommodations during your vacation. Adding an additional Deluxe Studio to your reservation sounds like a wonderful idea. You can request adjacent studios so that you and your children can still be near you while you enjoy your own separate space. Deluxe Studios at Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows are noted as having either a standard view or a lake view. While they are part of the same resort complex, they are separate from the bungalows.

If the Free Dining offer you mention referred to "standard rooms," they were probably referring to standard guest rooms at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort rather than the villas which are commonly associated with Disney Vacation Club. However, I think it is always worth calling to ask more about the details of the offer. It would be amazing to enjoy a Free Dining promotion during your stay. Wouldn't it?

Let me share one more tip regarding your upcoming stay. Did you know that guests of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows can order room service from 'Ohana? The feast they serve there at dinner time is one of my must-do meals at Walt Disney World Resort. Having the option to enjoy the cuisine in the comfort of your own villa makes staying at this beautifully-themed resort even more alluring.

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Jill
