We have decided to rent a car instead of relying on ride shares, I likely need to add parking to our reservation I assume?

Hello there, Chris! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you stopped by with your transportation question for us!

I am so excited to see that you are just a week away from your Disneyland getaway! There's nothing wrong with a little change of plans. If you are staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you can always call the hotel to let them know you will now need to add a vehicle to your reservation, but this is also something you can do when you arrive. Even if I check in through the Disneyland app, I always stop at the front desk when I arrive to confirm my check-in and they always ask if I will be parking a vehicle. If you are staying off property and are inquiring about parking at the theme parks, you can purchase a parking voucher ahead of time, but can also easily just pay when you pull up to the booth at either parking location.

It's such an exciting time at Disneyland Resort right now with the 70th Celebration continuing on while Halloween Time is also happening. If you have MagicBand+, don't miss out on the special interactive locations throughout Disneyland Park to commemorate the opening day attractions!

Chris, thanks again for stopping by! We are here if you have any other last-minute planning questions!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
