If I decided to purchase tickets from UnderCover Tourist, does this mean that I cannot participate in the Disney Dining Plan? Or must I have to purchase room, tickets, and the dining plan altogether? Can you not do ala carte? You folks are a blessing!=)

No, unfortunately you cannot participate in the dining plan.  The Disney dining plan is only available to guests who purchase a Magic Your Way vacation package that includes both theme park tickets and resort room accommodations.  The only way to make yourself eligible to purchase the dining plan would be to add a one-day base ticket to your Disney resort reservation.  That way, you'd have use of the tickets you've already purchased, but still be able to buy the dining plan.  I've heard of many annual passholders doing things this way because they appreciate the convenience that the dining plan offers.  If I were you, I'd do some crunching of the numbers to see if this would be an economically intelligent way to enhance your vacation!  Good luck.

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists.
