We have decided to drive in and stay at a cheaper hotel around Disney the night before we check in so we don't have to spend so much time in the car on our first day. Can I take the girls to Ft. Wilderness that night for the bonfire/movie?

Hi Stephanie! Fort Wilderness indeed has a great location to see Chip and Dales's Campfire Singalong followed by one of the wonderful Disney movies. All guests are welcome and they must park in the front of the resort and hop on one of the internal buses. If you are not familiar with the internal system and the different bus stops make sure you let your driver know where you want to go and he or she will announce the correct stop for you when you get there. From any of the bus loops that go around the Bike Barn and pool area it will be a short walk.  Be sure and bring plenty of bug spray and even some blankets in the cooler months so you can enjoy your stay. Food is available at the snack hut as well as all you will need to make a super s'more over the campfire. Enjoy!
