Hi, Colleen! My advice for Cinderella's Royal Table is to try to secure an
early breakfast reservation.
In my opinion, all 3 meals are not anything to write home about at CRT,
and it's really the experience that you're paying for. So why not try
to make the most of your time there for the least amount (or credits, if you're on the Disney Dining Plan). One of the
neat aspects of having an early breakfast at CRT is that you may enter
the park before it officially opens depending on the time of your
reservation. I have pictures of my children with the Castle behind them and NO ONE ELSE in the photo...it's awesome! Also,
the sooner you have breakfast, the sooner you're ready to enjoy some attractions together since
you're already at Magic Kingdom.
I like to have a
late dinner at Chef Mickey's for several
reasons. I love that the Contemporary is the very first stop on the
monorail when we're the most tired and usually starving! Also, it's a
better-than-usual buffet with carving stations, a great salad and soup
selection and yummy, creative desserts. My teenager son who has an
adventuresome appetite loves the selection (and quantity), and my two
finicky eaters can find plenty as well. Check the calendar
for when you're there and try to time dinner so that you can either see
the fireworks from the windows at Chef Mickey's, or you can take a
stroll after dinner onto the bridge that connects the Contemporary to
Bay Lake Towers and watch them from there.
I hope this helps you make an informed decision. Have a wonderful day and a most magical vacation!
