Hello Emelys!
Thank you for sending me your question. With a large family, sometimes we have to get a little creative in staying within budget, especially if we can't go during non-peak times. If you have a choice in dates, then I suggest traveling in the value seasons such as January and September. Disney often releases discounts and promotions for travel during these months. I would also keep an eye on the
Special Offers page. There is a Spring Vacation Special Offer right now that includes dates in April.
I also recommend taking advantage of the Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort or at Disney's All-Star Music Resort. These include a bedroom and a living area, a kitchenette (where you can store some groceries to save on food costs), and my favorite...2 bathrooms! If you would like to save more money, then you can also fit in one room in
Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside in the Alligator Bayou section. Those rooms can accommodate up to 5 people, but since your youngest is under 3, your family of 6 can still enjoy the backwoods of the bayou!
My family also eats a quick breakfast in the room, like cereal, granola bars, or muffins. We'll order some groceries from a grocery delivery service with snacks that we can throw in a bag to munch on in the theme parks. Also we ask for a cup of ice water at any quick-service dining location. It's free and cold which is very refreshing during the heat of the day.
Walt Disney World can be enjoyed on a budget! My children have enjoyed our budget vacations just as much as our splurge vacations. The memories are what matter. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask away. I hope your family has a magical, fantastical vacation!
