Hi there! We decided to add 1 day in Magic Kingdom and 1 day in Epcot before our Disney cruise! We have always had the dining plan when we visit, but not this time. My question is what types of food and drink can we bring into the park? Thanks Bunches!

    Hi Lindsay,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical vacations - and it sounds like you are planning a great one! Some time at both Magic Kingdom and Epcot, followed by a Disney Cruise Line cruise will be amazing.

I almost always take food and drinks with me into a Walt Disney World theme park. I like to have quick snacks on hand for when my family gets hungry, and having bottled water helps to keep us hydrated while we are on the go. Snacks I like to bring include pretzels, granola bars and apples. They are all easy to throw in my backpack and will not melt in the Florida sun! You will be happy to know that you can bring most types of food and beverage into Walt Disney World theme parks. You cannot bring in alcohol, and you cannot bring food in glass containers unless it is baby food. Check this list of restricted personal items for a complete list of prohibited items at Walt Disney World theme parks, and to be sure that the bag or cooler you are planning to bring is of an allowable size.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Lindsay! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
